Back in Business? Not quite.
November 14th, 2007Yeah, yeah, yeah…I know, I know. Lately we’ve been getting a lot of “SO…are you guys playing again soon?” and “SO…are you guys writing any new stuff lately?” and “SO…when will you win your first grammy?” etc. etc. etc. Well, aside from a few random gigs (such as the Troy Victorian Stroll on 12/2) we don’t have too much of a schedule planned right now. We would love to pick up our shows again in the New Year, but both Ilan and I are getting that oh-so-dreadfully-cliche stale feeling of playing the same ol’ stuff over and over. The problem isn’t knowing how to fix it: that’s the easy part. The problem IS finding the time and motivation to do so. Fortunately for us we are going through a little bit of an inspirational morphing season right now and may come out on the other side of it with some great new stuff and maybe even a little bit of a different sound. What we both know is that we terribly miss performing, but what we also know is that we can’t keep performing in the same old same old way.
Thanks to the fans who keep on sticking by us! We will give you something good as a result, I promise!
